Terms of Service

Last updated: August 28, 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and STEADY HEALTH LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17302077), registered office 30 Churchill Place, London, United Kingdom, E14 5RE (“Steady”, “we”, “us”). By using Steady you agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Notice. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Steady.

1. What Steady is

Steady helps you organise your health records, understand your own history, and prepare for appointments.

Medical disclaimer. Steady is not a doctor and not a medical device. It doesn’t diagnose, treat, or give medical advice; its information is to help you, not to replace your care team. Always consult a qualified professional, and in an emergency call your local emergency number (911 in the US, 999 in the UK).

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older.

3. AI

Steady uses AI to read your records and surface what’s worth raising. AI can be wrong or incomplete, so check anything important with your care team before acting on it. We process your data with the providers named in our Privacy Policy; they are contractually barred from using it to train their own models.

4. Recording (where available)

If you record a visit, you are responsible for any consent the law requires. In some places everyone in the conversation, including your clinician, must agree first. Steady will help you ask, and recording may be unavailable in some locations until you have that consent.

5. Subscriptions and renewals

Plans, prices, and what each includes are shown before you buy.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Subscriptions bought through the App Store are billed and managed by Apple, and those bought through Google Play are billed and managed by Google; the store charges the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. To cancel an App Store subscription, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions; to cancel a Google Play subscription, open the Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Where we offer a free trial, it becomes a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its refund policy, and refunds for Google Play purchases by Google under its.

If we change the price of your plan, we’ll tell you before it takes effect and you can cancel.

6. Your content and licence

Your data stays yours. You give us permission to process and store it only to provide Steady, as set out in the Privacy Policy. We give you a limited, personal licence to use the app; please don’t copy, resell, or reverse-engineer it.

7. App stores

These Terms are between you and Steady, not Apple or Google. You also agree to the App Store / Google Play terms, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms.

8. Your own risk and our liability

Steady is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for health decisions you make, and our total liability is limited to what you’ve paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here removes rights you have by law (including, for UK consumers, your statutory rights and liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

9. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend access for breach of these Terms or to comply with the law.

10. Disputes (US users)

If you’re in the United States: please contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute informally. If we can’t, you and Steady agree to settle disputes by binding individual arbitration, and to bring claims only on an individual basis, not as part of a class action. You can opt out of this section within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing us. This section does not apply to consumers in the UK or elsewhere, who keep their local court rights.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep any mandatory protections of your home country.

12. Changes

We’ll tell you in the app before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Steady means you accept the update.
